Ron Reagan Junior, son of former US President Ronald Reagan, is the host of this 30' TV Documentary originally produced for the daily US TV show “Good morning America”: We are diving in "The Paris underground” the most unusual, secretive and mysterious place of the underbelly of the French Capital :
- The Paris sewers, a complex system of galleries, built in 1860, with the subterranean lake under the Opera house (featured in the Phantom of the Opera)
- The Paris Quarries, hundreds of galleries that were dug out during centuries and centuries, to extract the stones that were used to build the city.
- The Paris Catacombs: a portion of the quarries have been filled with millions of bones, skulls and skeletons from the overflowing cemeteries of the capital.
- The Paris Metro, one the first Metropolitan underground transport which open in 1900 with more than 200 kms of tracks crisscrossing the capital.
- The Mushrooms Caves of Paris some part of the quarries that are used to grow in the perfect darkness and humidity the famous Champignon de Paris
- The Secret Cellar, a high security vault in the Paris Quarries, where are stored, in the best possible conditions, some of the finest and rarest French vintage wines.
